Several years ago I stumbled across a very talented artist called Ty Wilson and fell in love with his series of dance prints. You can find his work at – https://tywilson.com/
I decided to convert his Charleston print into beads and made the first panel on my Bead Loom.
Over the next couple of years in between other beading and art projects I made several more ‘dance panels’. I now have four panels that hang in my hallway and they always put a smile on my face when I open the front door and see them. Many hours of work go into each panel, from the original picture conversion to bead pattern and then onto weaving the panel and finishing it off. Maybe one day I will work out properly how many hours go into each panel.
Here are all 4 of them together.
However, as much as I love this Dance Series, I think the time has come to move onto another set of panels I have been designing. I have made one already and have the patterns ready for another 4. This time I have not used designs from other people but have designed all of them myself.
Let me start you off with a little sneaky peak……
That is all I am going to show you for now as I might change the mounting due to not being 100% happy with it the way it is. So stay tuned for the final reveal.
